About us
Rountree Acoustics is a loudspeaker technology company which originated in Cambridge, England. However, in June 2008 we relocated to Cornwall, as our roots are there. We now have superb, modern premises on the edge of Bodmin, where we are dedicated to designing and building the best and most innovative loudspeakers for reproducing music in the home.
We formed Rountree Acoustics because we have made a
genuine step forward in loudspeaker design, not based on
a single 'big idea' or invention, but on a whole family of
integrated ideas and techniques. After twenty years or so
these have finally come together to produce an extraordinary
result; one which we think will be immediately apparent to
any music lover.
Music has always played an important part in our lives, and
we wanted to be able to experience that intangible sense of
live performance - any time we felt like it - in our own home.
In our opinion, this had not yet been achieved ... so we set
out to do it ourselves.
