About us: Quality
We hand-build our loudspeakers a pair at a time, using components sourced from suppliers working to the highest standards. We work closely with these suppliers. We don't put orders out to tender, or scrimp to find the lowest cost at the expense of quality.
Our drive units, electrical and mechanical components are of the very highest calibre, selected purely for their sound, technical performance and reliability. We don't chase the latest trends, but use our experience to chose carefully and synergistically: The whole must be more than the sum of the parts.
We would like to say our products are "hand crafted", but the precision required really means "machine made". Even so the engineering and machining skill required is of a high order. We'll be honest: Those skills aren't ours - they are our suppliers'. We have other tasks - we listen, we think, we design. We assemble, measure and test, and then listen again.
Nothing we make tries to look like something it isn’t: We don't vinyl-cover MDF or use plastic that looks like metal. We don't hide things that need to be in view to maximize performance. Form always follows function, and the primary function is music. We think this leads to real and lasting quality.
