The OmniMon concept provides a unique link between two previously diametrically opposed loudspeaker design concepts: It combines the sense of scale, depth and freedom from ‘boxiness’ of a large panel speaker with the detail and focus of a small ‘point source’ speaker.
The intention is to provide this unique performance combination in a format that fits comfortably into any normal domestic listening room.
It is also our goal to combine these qualities with a genuine
full-range capability, so owners can enjoy their music without
wishing they had a bit more bass extension, or more ‘air’ or
‘sparkle’ at the top.
At the same time, we have been very careful to avoid the all
too common pitfalls of heavy, thumping, slow bass; hard
midrange with a tendency to shout, and harsh over-prominent
treble.
The resulting loudspeakers may be unusual, but we think
they achieve a combination of low colouration, focus, detail
and natural dynamics that has not been heard before – at
any price.
